Tips for making at-home/ family eating habits more healthy?

Hello!
I have a husband and two beautiful children. Our at- home eating habits are far from where they should be.
I am unsure of how to ease my family comfortably into better habits.
We eat McDonalds at least three times a week. I tend to opt for salads while my husband, son and daughter like the hearty Big Macs.
During a recent checkup, my children's physician revealed my daughter is 20lbs overweight.

What are some tips to help get our eating habits healthier?
What should I remove and replace?

my family has the same fast food issues. Limit it to once a week and instead make some burgers at home. Bake some fries in the oven. Get the kids involved in the planning and preparing of the meals. That will be a good start.
