I have never used MAC's only heard they are better than PC's. My wifes view of a computer is that it should work like a toaster, press the button and get what you want. This is the anecdotal stories I get from my MAC friends. Looking to the broader community for some input.....Wife may be gettng a Laptop for Xmas :) or a mac laptop if convinced . Thanks for the help.

Yes. The MAC will work just like a toaster and give you countless hours of trouble-free computing. I've used both and prefer the Mac interface to the PC any day. For someone who describes a computer as a toaster, a mac is generally the way to go. If my 83 year old grandmother can use her imac to send me email, anyone can.
