Do people in the military that work with computers/technology get deployed?

Of course they are.
There are computers and technology in war zones. Who do you think made it so the troops in Iraq can have internet.

You can and will be deployed everywhere that anyone else is sent.

now, in some cases you might get stationed somewhere doing something that wont get deployed... It does happen. It just depends, but there is no guarantee that will happen.

There is no job in the military where you are guaranteed you will never get deployed.
